Antenna Magazine
ANTENNA is the internet-based national Newsletter for youth members of ANZAAS. It is unique in Australia as it is the only national science magazine written and edited by students for students. Rachel Morison started as our Editor of ANTENNA when she was a year 11 school student in 2007. She has been improving and enlarging the Newsletter with each quarterly issue. Rachel participated in three of our annual Youth ANZAAS events when she was in school years 10, 11 and 12. Subsequently, from her base in UTS she has continued to attend Youth ANZAAS alongside University YSA members as a mentor or 'staffie'. She uses her attendance as an opportunity to issue a special ANTENNA report on each Youth ANZAAS event. Rachel does a splendid job as Editor but she is always seeking help from the student population across Australia and New Zealand to act as local reporters who can contribute science related news from widespread localities. Many of the students who respond are members of YSA.
